Directions

From Washington, take Route 270N to Frederick, MD. Proceed around Frederick on Route 15 (270 becomes Route 15 at Frederick). Continue past Frederick to Thurmont. Take Route 550 north toward Sabillasville. Go 2 1/2 miles to Eylers Valley Flint Road and turn right. (Follow signs to Eylers Valley Chapel.) Go 3 more miles, turning left at the stop sign; proceed past front of Eylers Valley Chapel, where road now becomes Hampton Valley Road. Come another 1/4 mile up the hill to camp on the left.

From Baltimore, follow Route 140 through Westminster and come straight through Emmitsburg. On the west end of Emmitsburg, take the left fork. Travel 2/10 mile, then bear left onto Annandale Road. Travel another mile and bear right onto Hampton Valley Road, then proceed another 3 miles to camp on the right.

From Gettysburg, and points North, take Route 15 S across the PA/MD line. Take the Emmitsburg/Route 140 exit. From the exit ramp, turn left onto Route 140, and go through Emmitsburg. At the west end of town (3/10 mile from the traffic light), bear left. Travel 2/10 mile, then bear left onto Annandale Road. Travel another mile and bear right onto Hampton Valley Road, then proceed another 3 miles to camp on the right.
